History
Backflow Tech was founded in 1985, and the company currently employs four full-time testers with significant field testing and repair experience, and related experience in water distribution, pipefitting and precision tuning and repair of mechanical devices.
Our large and diverse customer base includes many of the largest corporations and multi-location customers in Colorado some of whom entrust us with the maintenance of hundreds of devices in dozens of locations throughout the state. We are honored that they turn to us as a dependable and expert service provider.
Our cross-connection control technicians carry extensive inventories of parts and supplies to minimize out-of-service time and service charges for our customers, and are qualified to work on all types, makes, models and sizes of backflow assemblies; on domestic and irrigation water supplies and on those protecting fire suppression systems.
Backflow Tech is registered as a Fire Suppression Contractor with the Colorado Division of Fire and Safety.

Neal Finkenbinder
ABPA Tester Number: 06-0013 Neal has been testing and repairing backflow assemblies for Backflow Tech customers since 2000, and has been an ABPA proctor since 2004. With more than 29 years experience in various pipeline and pipe equipment companies, he is exceptionally comfortable working with manufacturing and process industry customers and on large-diameter distribution, domestic and fire assemblies. Neal has completed training in the use of safe confined entry procedures, first aid and in testing backflow assemblies for fire sprinkler systems. |

Andy LightASSE Tester Number: 15772 Andy joined Backflow Tech in 2009, bringing a wealth of experience in plumbing and mechanical testing and repair. Andy holds a journeyman's plumbing license and has attended specialized backflow training classes in repair and fire safety systems. |

Joe CollinsABPA Tester Number: 06-00008 Joe has been a technician at Backflow Tech since 2000, and has tested more than 10,000 devices during that time; repairing non-performing devices when necessary. Previously, Joe worked in distribution and field operations for Federal Express and Pepsico. Joe has completed ABPA's OSHA training in confined entry, first aid and Fire Sprinkler Backflow Testing. |

Greg EllenoffABPA Tester Number: 06-00378 Greg works primarily in our business office, but has been an ABPA certification as a tester since 2007. He does some field testing and repair work, and coordinates with our plumbing and fire services contractors on new installation and replacement pricing. Greg has extensive operations, marketing and customer service experience in the telecommunications, cable, information processing and healthcare industries. |
